Welcome to SoftwareKit. By using this app, you agree to the following terms.

1. App Usage: SoftwareKit provides utilities and tools for advanced device usage. All content available in the app is manually reviewed before being listed. We reserve the right to remove any utility, app, or source at any time.

2. Third-Party Content: SoftwareKit may provide access to third-party apps, utilities, or external sources. These are not owned or controlled by us. You are responsible for reviewing and accepting their terms before use.

3. Security and Reporting: Any utility, app, or source may be removed if reported or found to be malicious, unsafe, or misleading. If you encounter suspicious behavior or issues, use the Report button in its page to contact us.

4. User Responsibility: SoftwareKit is not malicious and does not intentionally provide malicious content. You are solely responsible for what you install or add, including apps installed using the Signer feature and any sources you manually add. We are not responsible for damage, data loss, bans, account issues, or security problems caused by malicious apps, modified packages, or untrusted sources added by the user.

5. Disclaimer: SoftwareKit is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Use of the app is entirely at your own risk. SoftwareKit is not a piracy tool. Users are responsible for how they use it and must respect applicable laws and content rights.

6. Intellectual Property: You may not copy, modify, sell, redistribute, rebrand, or create derivative works of SoftwareKit or any part of it without explicit permission.

7. Changes: These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of SoftwareKit means you accept the latest version.

Privacy Policy

SoftwareKit respects your privacy and limits data handling to what is strictly necessary for specific features.

1. Data Collection: SoftwareKit does not collect, track, sell, or share personal data for analytics, advertising, or profiling purposes.

2. Device Info Feature: If you use the Device Info feature, certain device-related information, including the UDID and related technical details, is temporarily sent to a Cloudflare Workers endpoint. This data is required solely for the feature to function.

3. Temporary Processing: The data sent to the Cloudflare Worker is stored temporarily for a maximum of 5 minutes so the app can retrieve it. After this period, the data is automatically deleted and is not retained, logged, or reused.

4. Encryption: All data transmitted between the app and the Cloudflare Worker is encrypted in transit. No unencrypted device information is exposed.

5. Local Storage: Once received by the app, device information is stored locally on your device only. This information never leaves your device again unless you explicitly trigger the Device Info feature.

6. Third-Party Services: Cloudflare Workers are used strictly as a temporary processing layer. They are not used for tracking, analytics, or data mining.

7. Policy Updates: This Privacy Policy may be updated if app functionality changes. Continued use of SoftwareKit means you accept the latest version.

✨ This update brings a more refined and polished experience across the app, with many UI improvements and updated icons for a cleaner, more consistent look.

🏠 The Global tab has been redesigned and is now called Hub, offering a more intuitive and organized layout.

✨ This update focuses on refining the overall experience, with a more native look and feel, smoother animations, and a wide range of UI improvements. macOS support has also been added, expanding availability across platforms.

🔄 Refreshing is now more efficient: only the active tab (News, Apps, or Sources) updates instead of the entire app. Pull-to-refresh has been removed from the Hub tab where it wasn’t needed, and individual repositories can now be refreshed directly from their own pages. Navigation has also been improved. Selecting a sidebar tab will now automatically close any active popups, dialogs, or pages, preventing background clutter.

⚙️ The Settings page has been redesigned for clarity and ease of use, with Device Information now integrated directly within it. UI translucency has been fine-tuned, screenshots have been improved, and unnecessary elements like the "Preview" label are now hidden when no screenshots are available.

📚 Content and sources have been enhanced across the app. AltStore Sources handling is now more reliable, with automatic refreshing after adding or removing sources, improved JSON compatibility, and a confirmation dialog when removing a source. Repository news now includes a "Read more" option, you can view all apps from all sources combined in a single page, and guides have been expanded with new additions and improvements for clearer, more helpful information.

🔔 Staying up to date is easier, with a new badge on the Library toolbar when new apps are available.

🛠️ Core components have been significantly improved. The Signer and Certificate Checker have both been completely redesigned and rewritten. The installation process for SoftwareKit has also been improved for a smoother experience.

🧹 GlassUI has been removed due to framework limitations that caused visual artifacts. The TrollStore compatibility checker has also been removed as it was not necessary. Missing blur effects on older iOS versions (< 18.0) have been fixed.

⚡ Under the hood, this update includes performance improvements, code optimizations, and multiple bug fixes for a faster and more stable experience overall.

How to Fix "Unable to Verify App" or "Integrity Could Not Be Verified"

This error appears when iOS cannot verify the app’s certificate. It usually means the certificate is revoked, expired, or your device is no longer allowed to use it.

1. Basic Fixes

Delete the app from your device.
Restart your iPhone.
Reinstall the app.

2. Trust the App Manually

Go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management.
Find the developer profile.
Tap Trust.
Open the app again.

3. Check Internet & System Settings

Make sure you are connected to the internet on first launch.
Go to Settings → General → Date & Time and enable Set Automatically.

4. Device Blacklisted (Common Case)

Sometimes your device gets blacklisted from the certificate used to sign the app.

This means the app will never open, even if reinstalled.
This often happens with shared or public certificates.

Fix options:

Install the app using a different certificate.
Wait until the app is re-signed with a new working certificate.

5. Last Resort: Reset Device

If your device is blacklisted and no new certificate is available:

Backup your data.
Go to Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Erase All Content and Settings.
Restore your backup.
Reinstall the app.

Important Notes

Factory reset is only needed in rare blacklist cases.
The issue is related to certificate validation, not your hardware.
Using a fresh certificate is usually the easiest fix.

In most cases, switching to a new certificate or reinstalling the app resolves the issue.

How to Enable Developer Mode on iOS

Developer Mode is required to run sideloaded apps, test apps, or use Xcode on iOS 16 and later. Unlike older versions, the option is hidden by default until iOS detects a development-related action.

1. Requirements

An iPhone running iOS 16 or newer
A sideloaded app, test app, or connection to a Mac with Xcode

2. When Developer Mode Appears

The toggle for Developer Mode usually becomes visible after one of these actions:

Installing a sideloaded app via AltStore, Sideloadly, or similar tools
Connecting your iPhone to a Mac running Xcode
Attempting to run a developer or test app

3. Enabling Developer Mode

Open Settings on your iPhone.
Go to Privacy & Security.
Scroll down and tap Developer Mode. If it isn’t visible, perform one of the actions above to trigger it.
Toggle Developer Mode ON.
Confirm by tapping Restart when prompted.
After the device reboots, unlock your iPhone and tap Turn On to confirm.

4. Why Developer Mode Is Needed

Allows execution of apps not from the App Store
Required for sideloaded apps installed via AltStore or Sideloadly
Required for running and testing apps with Xcode

5. Notes & Tips

Developer Mode is hidden until a development-related trigger occurs — it’s normal if you don’t see it immediately.
Enabling it doesn’t permanently unlock the device or provide extra system features.
After enabling, sideloaded apps will work normally without additional prompts.

6. Troubleshooting

If the toggle doesn’t appear, install a test or sideloaded app, or connect the device to Xcode once.
If enabling fails, ensure your iOS version is 16 or higher.

Developer Mode is a safe, system feature designed to allow testing and sideloading while keeping casual users from accidentally enabling developer-only functionality.

How to Create Your Own AltStore Source (Using AltStudio + GitHub Pages)

This method uses AltStudio so you don’t need to manually write or understand JSON.

1. What You Need

A GitHub account
Direct download links for your IPA files

2. Create Your Source with AltStudio

Go to https://altstudio.app
Click Create Source
Fill in your source info:
- Name
- Description
- Icon URL
Click Add App and fill in:
- App Name
- Bundle Identifier
- Version
- Download URL (your IPA link)
- Icon URL
Add as many apps as you want
Click Export and download the generated file (usually apps.json)

That’s it. AltStudio already builds the correct format for you.

3. Upload the File to GitHub

Create a new public repository
Upload the exported file (apps.json) to the root of the repo

4. Enable GitHub Pages

Open your repository
Go to Settings → Pages
Select:
- Branch: main
- Folder: /root
Save

Your source will be available at:

https://YOUR_USERNAME.github.io/REPO_NAME/apps.json

5. Add Your Source to AltStore

Open AltStore on your device
Go to Browse → Sources
Tap the + button
Paste your GitHub Pages URL

6. Hosting IPA Files

Make sure your IPA links are direct downloads.

Cloud storage providers
